The Audience Section in Nova allows you to easily add new prospects to your existing live campaigns — without the need to recreate or clone them. This feature is especially useful when you have a campaign performing well and simply wish to add additional contacts for continued outreach.

Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to use the Audience Section effectively.

1. Understanding the Audience Section

The Audience Section is designed to manage and upload new prospects into an already active campaign.

Purpose:

  • Add new contacts to existing campaigns.

  • Avoid recreating or cloning successful campaigns.

  • Reuse the same prospect data for multiple campaigns.

This section helps streamline your workflow and ensures your best-performing campaigns continue to reach new audiences.

2. Accessing the Audience Section

  1. From the Nova dashboard, go to the left-hand menu bar.

  2. Click on Audience.

  3. Select New Audience to create a new list.

3. Creating a New Audience List

  1. After clicking on New Audience, you will be prompted to create a title.

    • Enter a title name that clearly identifies the campaign you’re associating it with.

    • Example: “Test Prospects” or “Webinar Leads – October.”

  2. Under Audience Type, select the appropriate option.

  3. Click Continue or Save Audience to proceed.

4. Uploading Your Prospect Data (CSV File)

  1. Click on the Audience you just created.

  2. Select the Upload option.

  3. Choose the CSV file containing your prospects’ details.

  4. Once uploaded, review the prospect list that appears.

Tip: Ensure your CSV file follows Nova’s official template format (includes fields like First Name, Last Name, Email, Company, LinkedIn URL, etc.).

5. Selecting Prospects to Upload

After uploading your CSV file:

  1. You can manually select the prospects you wish to add by ticking the circle next to their name.

  2. To select all prospects at once, tick the box beside First Name at the top of the list.

  3. Once your selection is made, click Upload Records to Audience.

All selected records will now appear in your Audience Section.

6. Adding Prospects to a Live Campaign

Once the prospects have been uploaded:

  1. Select the desired records from your Audience list.

  2. Click Add to Campaign.

  3. Choose the campaign name where you want to add these prospects.

    • It’s important to remember your campaign title to ensure you’re adding to the correct one.

  4. Click Add to confirm.

7. Verifying Prospects in the Campaign

To confirm that your prospects have been successfully added:

  1. Go to the Campaigns section.

  2. Open the specific campaign you just selected.

  3. Check the Prospects list within the campaign.

You will see the newly added prospects listed there.

Nova will automatically begin generating personalised messages for them.

8. Reusing Prospects Across Campaigns

  • Prospects added in the Audience Section can also be used in multiple campaigns.

  • This means you do not have to upload the same contact list repeatedly.

  • Simply select the existing audience and assign it to a different campaign when needed.

This saves time and ensures consistency across your campaigns.

9. Key Benefits of the Audience Section

  • Add prospects to live campaigns instantly.

  • Avoid recreating or cloning successful campaigns.

  • Save time by reusing existing audience data.

  • Allow Nova to automatically generate messages for newly added prospects.

10. Summary

The Audience Section is a powerful feature for managing and expanding your campaign reach without duplicating work.

By uploading your CSV file, selecting your desired prospects, and adding them directly into your live campaign, you can maintain momentum and increase efficiency.

Remember: Nova automatically begins generating personalised messages for each new prospect added — ensuring continuous engagement and seamless campaign performance.
