  1. Once Nova is trained on your value propositions you can have her execute campaigns. Each Nova license represents a person to amplify their potential. Before starting a campaign ensure your details are accurately entered under your account settings Account | Admin Centre with the first name surname and a HTML email signature.

  2. Nova can target data from your HubSpot account and Apollo if you have a license. By setting up the integration she can quickly use data from these sources to execute campaigns, therefore review the setup under your Integrations | Admin Centre

  3. She can also target records saved from within Launched so review tool such as Monitor | Launched to save warm records for her to engage (also see the later use guide step Setting up Monitor to gain website traffic intelligence)

  4. She can also target a CSV or any list of prospects (a template can be found by clicking here) this is also available to download as part of the setup process from the page where you click on "Contact List" and then Download sample template.

  5. For all data sources the key columns are; email, company, jobtitle, First Name, Last Name, Person LinkedIn in Url, Website, Company LinkedIn in Url.

  6. Currently each Nova campaign can have 1600 prospects included.

Setting Up Campaigns

  1. We recommend to connect your own warm email boxes and this can be done under Nova | Admin Centre > emails. Using your own means a warm domain and this improves the deliverability. Launched also has a set of email boxes from a sister domain. For reference these can be found under Inbox | Launched. These sister email boxes need warming to ensure the best connectivity with your target prospects. Your customer success manager should have supplied you with a file containing Launched employees to support this process, please add employees from your company and any others who can support. To begin with, send a series of small campaigns to start with by just sending out 5 emails per day, then increase this to 10, then week 2 about 20, week 3 about 30 and week 4 40. For the known receivers ask everyone to move the emails from junk and mark as not spam and reply to the messages. The message replies are not too important; it is just to demonstrate a response to the domain. Ideally this warming would take place over 30 to 40 days, so can be completed while the Nova training is taking place.

  2. Choose the data type you would like to use for your campaign targeting.

  3. Each route follows a core campaign setup with an prospect email enrichment step if choosing an account list upload

CSV Template Rules

  1. Nova uses Website, LinkedIn profile & Prospect data for personalization.

  2. Context Column → Add custom notes (e.g., “Met at XYZ networking event”).

  3. Add Campaign Name (easy to remember later).

  4. Paste your Company Website (e.g. Launched is www.launchedtech.io).

  5. Then clicking on the "Suggest" icon helps add some useful quick campaign positioning aspects.

  6. This information is gathered from your website. You can refine the points to tailor to any specific targeting you would like for the campaign objectives.

Campaign Design

  1. Nova has her style of selling and takes a hunter mindset to achieve the outcomes you set her. To support her with the campaign goals you can add context about why you are targeting the prospects.

  2. The Background frames any high level positioning, such as if they are cold prospects or if you met them from an event or if there is a type of persona or personality.

  3. The Context box is where you direct Nova and what to write about, if you have a strategy then provide her with the ideas on the messaging and what you want to achieve. This direction should be explicit. If you want her to include a link, add the URL, If you want her to use case studies from her training knowledge, say what it is, if you want her to cover certain points in certain emails say, email one include xyz.

For Examples:-

  1. Using "These are rules you must follow" and then state what it is you need her to do.

  2. What to include/exclude

  3. These are the rules you must follow:

    • You must not open an email with "I hope this finds you well”

    • You must not use overly excitable language such as commendable, inspiring, dedication, fantastic

    • You must not reference the previous message

    • You must write emails with under 150 words

  1. Provide asset web links to provide value to prospects and build rapport

  2. Provide a framework as an idea

  • Email one - follow this structure xxxx, email 2 share this case study yyy, email 3 offer my booking link XXXX

You can set up creative ways to provide background information e.g. these are lost deals from last year. These are prospects I met at a networking event called YYYY.

Here is an example-

  1. Campaign Background: This campaign is targeting founders of marketing agencies. The focus is on building a relationship and understanding if they want to expand their service offerings by using Nova.

  2. Campaign Context: Take a personal friendly founder to founder approach and mention that I understand the importance of having revenue streams to support customers with valuable services. Include that I used to run a marketing agency so can relate to how the market is shifting and how this could be impacting them. Start the first message by offering value and reference the new playbook I just released which supports agencies think about adding AI services, here is the link https://www.linkedin.com/posts/paul-whittall-9725906_ai-is-squeezing-agency-margins-but-its-activity-7354448639789834240-orrq?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAEnOmYBowkFxb1UiHRYrxIu_8GduprTPNY. Continue the messages with an inquisitive approach seeking to understand more about their business. Include in the 2nd email an introduction to the Launched Partner programme referencing why they would be a good fit and how our bleeding edge solutions like Nova with AI calling can provide them and their customers a unique opportunity. In the 3rd email offer to have an exploratory short conversation by offer my booking link https://meetings-eu1.hubspot.com/paul-whittall

  3. There is also a section at the bottom of the page to add other assets. The recommendation is to add any assets to the Nova training https://app.launchedtech.io/app/nova/upload they can be used to support any future engagement rather than just a single campaign.

Customize Settings:

  • Language → Choose country preference

  • Tone → Match your personality

  • Formality → Friendly / Neutral / Formal

  • Length → Set manually or “Leave it to Nova”

  1. Exclude any companies you don't want to be contacted. This is a useful ring-fence to ensure customers are not included, valuable if going down the CRM data source route.

  2. Disable on Reply means the pre-designed email sequence steps will stop when a prospect sends a message. If you want Nova to support with replies as well as the messages, set this to disable.

Reply Mode:

  1. Autopilot → Nova replies directly without you being involved.

  2. Copilot → Nova drafts, you approve (Recommended at start so that you get used using Nova)

  3. Manual → You write the reply.

Action Options:

  1. Reply to emails/messages.

  2. Drive website traffic

  3. Schedule meetings (add booking link)

The type of CSV upload can be

  1. A company list, which then takes you to a prospect enrichment using Apollo.

  2. Contact is a list of prospects with their emails (use the Launched template here, also found on the page to import)

Sequence Design:

  1. Start date: at least 24 hours in advance

  2. Best practice: 3–4 day gaps between touchpoints

  3. Approve or regenerate messages in Workbench
