You’ve built the perfect multi-channel campaign — emails, LinkedIn requests, follow-up messages — and hit Launch.
But then… nothing happens.
Emails are sitting in “Pending,” and your LinkedIn steps just aren’t running.
Don’t worry — this is a common problem, and you can usually fix it yourself in a few minutes.
Why This Happens
When campaigns stall, there are usually a few usual suspects:
LinkedIn Account Isn’t Connected
Your campaign can’t send messages or connection requests if your LinkedIn integration is disconnected.Email Inbox is Disconnected
If your sending inbox has lost its connection, all emails will stay in Pending.Daily Action or Send Limits Reached
Both LinkedIn and email providers have daily limits. If you’ve hit them, sending pauses automatically. No Eligible Contacts Left
If all contacts have bounced, unsubscribed, or already finished their steps, there’s simply no one left to contact.Time Windows Aren’t Active
Campaign schedules may be set to run only during specific hours, so steps pause outside those windows.
The Fix: Step-by-Step
Follow these steps to get things moving again:
1. Reconnect Your LinkedIn Account
Go to Settings → Integrations → LinkedIn and reconnect.
Open LinkedIn in a separate tab to confirm your credentials are working.
2. Reconnect Your Email Inbox
Head to Settings → Integrations → Email and check if your inbox says Disconnected. If it does, click Reconnect.
3. Check Your Schedule and Time Windows
In your campaign, open the Schedule tab.
Make sure:
Time windows include the current time.
LinkedIn actions have available time slots assigned.
4. Verify Daily Action and Send Limits
Open Workspace Settings to check your daily LinkedIn action limit.
In the campaign, confirm the email daily send limit isn’t too low.
5. Check Your Audience
Go to the Audience tab and make sure contacts are eligible (not bounced, unsubscribed, or already completed).
6. Resume the Campaign
If the campaign was paused, click Resume to restart sending.
When to Escalate
Escalate to your support team if:
Your LinkedIn account is connected, but syncing still shows 500 errors.
Your inbox is connected, limits and schedules are correct, but sends stay “Pending” for more than 24 hours.
