Monitor is a powerful way to understand who is interested in your business by seeing the real-time visitors on your website.
The tool supports both marketing and sales teams, so it's important both have access to the platform and can identify the ideal prospects who match their objectives.
Creating filters to find Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) leads
Not all visitors to a company website will be the perfect fit.
💡By running consistent Nova campaigns this will increase the relevancy of traffic.
Within Monitor each user can segment the visitor traffic most relevant to their focus, so no need to spend time searching for best fit leads, and more time converting🥳
Combining good fit leads with behaviour such as visiting pricing pages will improve lead quality and by focusing on those with the best propensity will produce the best results.
The timeline
Launched automatically sets the range of traffic visibility to the current week to allow a sharp focus on those to prioritise.
You can adjust this by simply clicking on the date and applying the historical range you are interested in investigating.
Company size, industry and country
Company size
Filtering by company size is a great way to focus on those who have the right fit for your company products and services.
Simply click on the Add Filter icon select the bracket you want to include. To add multiple brackets, simply add the next range and include the or rule to show all
Filtering by industry
This follows the same process, simply click on the Add Filter and select the Industry you want to include
💡 Industry filters match LinkedIn. If you are unsure what industries to select, check out the industries your customers are listed under on LinkedIn. If you notice customers do not consistently fall under a single industry, then be sure to include related industries.
For example: 'Financial Services' may also include 'Banking' or 'Accounting'.
Country
The filter contains both the company and visitor location filters in.
Company represents where the head office is based
Visitor is where the prospect is based
Behaviour filters
Decide what high intent behaviours you would like to use to filter your ICP leads. In the example below we are using a combination of a Launched webpage location which has our book a demo form, and where the number of page views is more than 1.
💡 Identify on your website which are the locations which have the best signs for buying interest and build a Visited Url selection around these.
💡 When deciding what high intent filters to use, book time in with sales and marketing to make sure both teams are aligned.
🚨 We suggest not lowering the bar too far to avoid investing resources in low quality leads that will negatively impact sales conversion rates. Equally you want to capture all potential and ensure effective retargeting with every potential prospect.
Revenue Attribution
With your CRM connected you can see all historical touchpoints in a centralised view, simply click on the company name.
💡 We would propose to build a lead score based on the behaviour triggers. By connecting your CRM you can have a wholistic view of the account engagement on Launched and your own marketing and sales activity.
Find the right prospect
By connecting one of Launched's 3rd party data providers such as Apollo (see article Integrating Apollo to access prospects | Launched Help Center) you have instant access to the prospects to target.
Once the integration is established simply click on the tab called people
Then pick those prospect you want to target by clicking on them (each click uses a credit from your license with that provider):
These can be saves inside the platform as a custom audience:
Either adding them to an existing list or creating a new one:
Save the companies
The accounts you want to target are saved in the same way as the prospects, simply click on the circle next to the name as as a company audience:
💡 By saving the companies and prospects showing the most interest in your business within Launched you can easily re-target by running additional campaigns.
💡Use Nova and have her automate the outbound targeting these prospects
Here are some suggested templates for campaign setup update the BOLD adjust as needed to suite your ideas.
Capture all approach suspects
Background
These are prospects who I suspect have visited my company website.
Context
The suspects have shown interest in (insert any key points observed from Monitor on navigation e.g. case studies page) I want you to take a friendly open approach to understand more about how they, or someone else in their company wants to explore how we can help. Position the approach as a relationship build to want to learn more about what they do and share ideas to help them.
Here is an example approach for the first message
“Hey [first name],
I spotted you recently [insert personal research related to ...].
I know your team has been on our website and has been looking to understand more about what we do, so I wanted to connect and share some helpful insights into how we potentially support you. I know often when I speak with other [job title] we often find [insert pain], is this something you are looking to improve?
I would be happy to share some examples to help.
Let me know."
